Due to heightened border security
and customs restrictions, effective 1 July 2008, we will no longer ship any products outside of the
Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Military Postal addresses.
Canadian shoppers may contact

Products of Canada for the names and addresses of Canadian distributors of these products.
Email Contact
Because we are primarily an
Internet-based business, our main contact with our customers is via email. Customers are responsible for
maintaining their email accounts in such a way that they can receive email from us. Customers who use
spam-filtering software or serves need to ensure that those filters are configured to pass email from our
domain (TheHerbDoc.com).
TheHerbDoc.com is not responsible
for email notices or communication that is not received due to email accounts that are filtered, over-limit,
or having technical difficulties that prevent the customer from receiving our notices or messages.
Order Processing
We do not process orders on the
Sabbath or Sunday (5:00 PM Friday to 9:00 AM Monday, Eastern Time). Orders received on weekends or holidays
will not be processed until the following business day.
Shipping Method
We cannot ship to Post Office
boxes. Products shipped from our office are sent via U. S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Products shipped from
our vendor warehouses are sent via United Parcel Service (UPS). We are not able to provide any other delivery
methods or services.
Backorders
Occasionally there are items that are temporarily
out of stock. When an order is received for both in-stock and out-of-stock items, the in-stock items will be
shipped right away, and the back-ordered items will generally be shipped within 24 hours of being received
into inventory.

We are committed to protecting

We are diametrically opposed to
Unsolicited Commercial eMail (also called UCE or 'sPAM?). We hate getting it and we refuse to send it. If you
specifically request to be added to our mailing list, we will automatically add you to our eGroup, because
that is what we use for primary customer contact. We will contact you at reasonable intervals with new or
special product information, health information, or training opportunities that we feel may be of value to
you. You can then control the way you are contacted by logging on to our eGroup website and adjusting your

Shipping Times and Charges
Although we do our
best to ship by the most rapid and economical means possible,
please allow a minimum of 10-15 business days for
delivery. Nature's Sunshine products will generally arrive a bit sooner than that; orders for
Iridology products may take a bit longer, sometimes as long as four weeks, depending upon the particular
manufacturer.
Because we cannot
guarantee the policies or performance of our vendors, your order may sometimes take as long as three
or four weeks for delivery within the continental United States, or longer for Alaska, Hawaii, and
military addresses.
Shipping Charges for Nature's
Sunshine and Pure Herbs Products
For all orders of Nature's Sunshine
and Pure Herbs products, there is a shipping and handling charge of
$8.00 on orders up to $99.99, and only
$10.00 shipping charge on orders of $100.00 or more.
Because of our special relationship with Nature's Sunshine Products, we are usually able to ship orders
for NSP products within one business day after receipt of your order, and they will usually be
drop-shipped via UPS by NSP from their warehouse closest to you. Most orders for Pure
Herbs products are shipped via UPS from their warehouse in Michigan, and
usually take 7-10 business days from the time you place the order until it arrives.
Shipping Charges for Iridology Products
There is a
10% shipping and handling charge per order ($7.50 minimum) on all iridology products.
This charge is not reflected on the total shown on the Shopping Cart checkout screen, but will be added to all
orders for iridology products. If you have both iridology and herbal products on the same order, this 10%
iridology shipping and handling charge will be calculated on the iridology products only. The shipping and
handling on the herbal products will be calculated separately as explained above. Because we obtain iridology
products from a number of vendors, shipping times may vary, but are usually about two weeks, and
rarely as long as three or four weeks.
Shipping Outside the 48 Contiguous States
Orders being shipped to addresses
outside the 48 Continental United States (Alaska, Hawaii, and military postal addresses) may be subject
to additional shipping charges. These charges are not included in the calculations by our Shopping Cart
service, and will not be reflected on your final check-out screen. Unfortunately, we are unable to find any
way to make this calculation happen automatically. If your order is subject to any additional shipping
charges, we will email you with the grand total amount of your order and obtain your final authorization
before we either charge your credit card or ship your order. |
Returns and Refunds
Please note that we only accept
returns for products that were purchased through TheHerbDoc.com. Damaged products must be reported to us
within five (5) days of receipt or no replacement will be sent or credit issued. No returns will be accepted
after 30 days. No outdated or used products will be accepted as a return. There is a 10% re-stocking fee
for all returns, with the exception of damaged or incorrect merchandise. All returns must be
accompanied by an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

We do not refund shipping
charges, nor do we pay for return shipping unless we are responsible for sending you damaged or incorrect
merchandise.
"Incorrect merchandise" is
defined as a product or item that is other than than the product or item that you actually purchased. (For
example, you ordered Milkweed Extract and we sent you Milkthistle Extract in error). Abundant Life Herb Shop
and TheHerbDoc.com do not assume any responsibility for the applicability or suitability of any product or
item.
Except for damaged or incorrect merchandise as noted above, all
returns will receive a 90% refund of the actual cost of the merchandise returned (excluding shipping charges)
and will be issued directly to the same credit or debit card originally used to place the order.
When we receive the returned
merchandise with an RMA we will process the return within two business days. Depending upon your bank
processing cycle, your credit will be posted to your account within 1-2 billing cycles or sooner.
We do ask, however, that you keep in
mind the fact that herbal products simply do not produce instant results in most cases, and that every body
will react differently to nutritional support. The rule of thumb is that for the body to heal itself it
requires a minimum of three months of adequate herbal supplementation, plus one additional month for
each year that you have had the problem. It also takes seven to ten times the nutrition to heal the body as it
takes to maintain normal health.
Pure Herb Product Refunds
Per Pure Herbs, Ltd. policy: "Due to
F.D.A. regulations regarding food products, Pure Herbs, Ltd. has a no return
policy. The exceptions are breakage and manufacturing defects. ... This policy is
necessary as the returned product must be destroyed due to F.D.A. regulations." We are therefore unable to
provide refunds of Pure Herbs products except as provided in the Pure Herbs Ltd. refund policy.
Special Order Items
Special Order items are items that
we do not normally stock and that we have ordered especially for you. Special Order
items are not refundable except for defective merchandise, which will be covered under the
manufacturer's warranty policies. |
