Scripture Helps
What the Bible has to say about:
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and
why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet
praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. (Psalm 42:11;
43:5)
God be merciful unto us, and bless us;
and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon
earth, thy saving health among all nations. (Psalm 67:1-2)
Prov. 3 1 My son, forget
not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For
length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3 Let
not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them
upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour
and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust
in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own
understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he
shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health
to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
My son, attend to my words; incline
thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them
in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them,
and health to all their flesh. (Prov. 4:20-22)
There is that speaketh like the
piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health. (Prov. 12:18)
A wicked messenger falleth into
mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health. (Prov. 13:17)
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. There is a way that seemeth
right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (Prov.
16:24-25)
For I will restore health unto thee, and
I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; (Jer. 30:17)
Behold, I will bring it health and cure,
and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and
truth. (Jer. 33:6)
Beloved, I wish above all things that
thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John
1:2)
