Description
This combination of policosanol,
phytosterol (plant sterols), inositol nicotinate (a form of niacin),
resveratrol, and artichoke powder offers a host of benefits to the heart
and the circulatory system. These include maintaining cholesterol levels
that are already in the normal range, protection of the heart, antioxidant
properties, maintaining already-normal platelet aggregation levels, and
more.
Policosanol appears to perform a
similar action in the body as Chinese red rice extract (Hongqu). Human
studies show that policosanol can effectively play a role in maintaining
cholesterol levels already in the normal range and that it can help
maintain already-normal platelet aggregation (clotting). Studies show that
20 mg policosanol is as effective as 100 mg aspirin in maintaining
already-normal platelet aggregation.
The chemical structure of plant sterols
is similar to that of cholesterol, so plant sterols compete with the
absorption of cholesterol in the body. Excess plant sterols are not
absorbed by the body but are eliminated.
Inositol nicotinate helps relax
smooth muscles and improves microcirculation. It is particularly effective
in maintaining triglyceride levels that are already in the normal range.
Resveratrol has been in the news in
recent years for its antioxidant abilities. It also may help promote
immune system strength and maintain LDL and triglyceride levels already in
the normal range.
Finally, artichoke powder (Cynara
scolymus) contains sesquiterpene lactone, cynaropicrin (a strong
bitter), and inulin. It benefits the liver and promotes digestion.
Artichoke is popular in Europe for its ability to maintain cholesterol
levels already in the normal range.
Usage
Take 1 capsule with a meal three
times daily, or as suggested by your Natural Health Professional.

Para-Cleanse with Paw Paw is a 10-day program designed
to support the efforts of the intestinal system in removing unwanted
guests.
Contrary to popular belief, parasites infest a large
percentage of the population. In spite of government regulations,
inspectors, drugs, and general less-than-perfect cleanliness in our
society today, parasitic invasion can still reach us through: Rise in
international travel; exotic foreign foods that may be undercooked or
unwashed; contaminated water; day care centers; household pets; and
over-use of antibiotics.
Symptoms of infestation include unexplained chronic
illness, pain, fatigue, depression, itching, allergies, anemia,
nervousness, sleep disturbances, constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating,
and flu-like symptoms.
Like parasites, herbal compounds are a part of nature,
and they exist to help the body fight these unwanted invaders. These
nutrients help strengthen the body"s immune and cleansing systems.
This carefully formulated herbal combination supports
an intestinal environment that is not hospitable to foreign invaders. Each
packet contains 6 capsules total, consisting of the following: 1 capsule
of Paw Paw Cell-Reg, 1 capsule of Herbal Pumpkin combination (a blend of

Usage: Take 2 packets each day, one 15 minutes
before breakfast and one 15 minutes before dinner. Drink at least 8 oz. of
pure water with the capsules. Continue the program for 10 days. When the
contents have been consumed, continue with the dietary suggestions for ten
days then repeat the program.
Dietary Suggestions: Eat lots of fresh fruits
and vegetables (especially leafy greens) and whole grains. Avoid red
