About the Speakers

Dr.
Susan Gingerich (Ph.D.) is
affectionately known as "The Herb Lady." She works part-time as a
consultant, helping individuals build health through dietary and
lifestyle changes, as well as through herbs and homeopathics. She
also teaches culinary and medicinal uses of herbs. Her goal is to
educate, inspire, and assist others in the healing process. Her
unique style of teaching and knowledge of herbs makes for an
enriching classroom experience. Susan earned a Ph.D. from Ohio
State University in the field of Early Childhood Education. She
has taught everything from kindergarten to graduate level courses
in child development and classroom management. Susan enjoys
acting, teaching and spending time with her family. |

Dale Lee,
NSP President of US Sales, is affectionately known to most of us
as NSP's Teddy Bear. He joined Nature's Sunshine in 1978, became a
corporate officer in 1989, and was promoted to President of U.S.
Sales in 1997. He was also named as corporate Executive Vice
President in 1999. Dale"s contagious excitement and true
enthusiasm for all that NSP stands for is overshadowed only by his
true affection for the NSP family of Independent Distributors. |

Michael Corrigan, MH, is an herbalist
and natural products educator who draws on 25 years of experience
in traditional western herbalism and modern phytotherapy. He has
conducted numerous lectures and seminars in the U.S. and abroad
for the health and natural food trade, and for consumers and
health professionals. Corrigan studied forestry and ecology
followed by pre-med at Brigham Young University before he became
interested in the holistic concepts of herbal medicine. He earned
a certificate as a master herbalist from The School of Natural
Healing. He has also completed herbalist courses from the Dominion
Herbal College, as well as Wild Rose College. He was instrumental
in building an awareness of the positive health and environmental
benefits of herbs and herbal extracts. |

Dr. Rick
Sawyer (ThM, ThD, DMin, MBA, CNHP)
is a Messianic Pastor, Certified Natural Health Professional, and
Nature's Sunshine Manager, and is currently enrolled in the
Naturopathic Doctor program at Trinity College of Natural Health.
In his widely-varied career he has worked as an emergency room
supervisor, psychiatric nursing supervisor, operating room
technician, electroenceph-alograph technician, electrocardiograph
technician, and x-ray technician. He also served worked as a
consultant to Government of Guam's Department of Health, where he
participated in the design, implementation, and initial staff
training for the first civilian neuropsychiatric facility and
electroencephalograph laboratory between Hawaii and the
Philippines (at Guam Memorial Hospital) and helped design all new
standardized psychological tests for the implementation of Guam's
Project Head Start. As a consultant to the National Institutes of
Health at the National Institute of Neurological Disease and
Blindness Research Center in Agaña, Guam, he participated in the
some of the very earliest research into amyotrophic lateral
sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's
Disease. He has been in pastoral ministry since 1979, and served
as Administrator and Registrar of Grace School of Theology and
Ministry, and as Academic Dean and Professor of Theology and
Comparative Religion at Golden State School of Theology. He has
been teaching the Bible for over 45 years and is presently the
Pastor of
Messianic Congregation Bnei HaMelech in Parkersburg, WV. |

LaMar Wiscombe,
NSP Corporate Regional Manager, has been an integral part of the
NSP family for years, from production to sales training. LaMar
started his career with NSP twenty years ago, mixing and grinding
raw materials. Through his dedication to herbal medicine, he
became Manager of Education. In addition, he served as Senior
Education and Training Specialist at Nature's Way for five years.
LaMar is a graduate of the Utah College of Massage Therapy and
holds an Herbalist degree from Dominion College. He has completed
other extensive herbal training programs. LaMar's in-depth
knowledge and entertaining teaching style have made him a popular
speaker for the past twelve years throughout the United States,
Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. His enthusiasm
for spreading information on natural health products has alos led
him to become a frequent quest on radio programs and health shows.
