Cancellations
Once the Checkout button is pressed on the shopping cart, your transaction is final, and cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee of 4% of your total order (to offset the fees the bank charges us to process your credit card). [BACK TO TOP]

International Customers

Due to heightened border security, customs restrictions, and international licensing requirements, we no longer ship any products outside of the Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Military Postal addresses. Email Contact

Because we are primarily an Internet-based business, our main contact with our customers is via email. Customers are responsible for maintaining their email accounts in such a way that they can receive email from us. Customers who use spam-filtering software or serves need to ensure that those filters are configured to pass email from our domain (anything@TheHerbDoc.com and).

We are not responsible for email notices or communication that you do not receive due to email accounts that are filtered, over-limit, or having technical difficulties that prevent the customer from receiving our notices or messages. [BACK TO TOP]

Order Processing

We do not process orders on the Sabbath or Sunday (5:00 PM Friday to 9:00 AM Monday, Eastern Time) and our suppliers are also closed during those times. Orders received on weekends or holidays will normally not be processed until the following business day. [BACK TO TOP]

Shipping Method

We cannot ship to Post Office boxes. Products are drop-shipped shipped from our vendors’ warehouses via United Parcel Service (UPS). We are not able to provide any other delivery methods or services.  [BACK TO TOP]

Rush Delivery
We do not offer rush delivery because the providers will not guarantee any faster delivery for the additional fee, which is typically $35.00 or more. [BACK TO TOP]

Shipping Times and Charges

Due to the high incidence of credit card and internet fraud, we normally do not process your order with our vendors until the funds from your credit card have cleared our bank, which usually requires two business days. It takes an additional two to five business days for UPS to deliver to most addresses. This means that if everything goes exactly right, from the time you place your order until you receive it will generally be at least four business days. Holidays and bad weather will produce additional delays.

Although we do our best to ship by the most rapid and economical means possible, please allow a minimum of seven business days for delivery.

Because we cannot guarantee the policies or performance of our vendors or shippers, your order may rarely take as long as two weeks for delivery within the continental United States, or longer for Alaska, Hawaii, and military addresses.

Shipping for Pure Herbs Products. Pure Herbs products are shipped via UPS from their warehouse in Michigan.

Shipping for Nature’s Sunshine Products. Nature’s Sunshine maintains a number of warehouses in the continental U.S. and (depending upon product availability in each warehouse) normally ships via UPS from their warehouse nearest your delivery address.

Shipping for Bernard Jensen (Iridology) Products. Products from Bernard Jensen International are shipped via either USPS or UPS from their warehouse in Southern California.

Shipping Outside the 48 Contiguous States. Orders being shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and military postal addresses will normally take longer than a week, and additional shipping fees will apply. [BACK TO TOP]

Sales Taxes

Because Nature’s Sunshine maintains a physical presence (offices or warehouses) in many states, those states require that applicable state, county, district, and city sales taxes be charged on all NSP products shipped to those states, and many of those states require sales tax to be charged on products shipped from those warehouses.

Because those tax rates change fairly frequently, we are not able to guarantee that the amount of sales tax indicated on your check-out screen and initial order-confirmation email will match the tax amount actually charged. Your actual paid invoice will reflect the amount of sales tax charged by those states, and that amount will be shown on the actual invoice that we send you after your order has been processed. Backorders

Occasionally there are items that are temporarily out of stock. When an order is received for both in-stock and out-of-stock items, the in-stock items will be shipped right away, and the back-ordered items will generally be shipped within 24 hours of being received into inventory. Whenever a manufacturer notifies us that the back-order period will exceed one week, we will notify you before processing your order and obtain your permission to proceed with processing. Returns and Refunds

Please note that we only accept returns for products that were actually purchased through TheHerbDoc.com. Damaged products must be reported to us within five (5) days of receipt or no replacement will be sent or credit issued. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. No outdated or used products will be accepted as a return. There is a 10% re-stocking fee for all returns, with the exception of damaged or incorrect merchandise. All returns must be accompanied by an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

We do not refund shipping charges, nor do we pay for return shipping unless we are responsible for sending you damaged or incorrect merchandise.

“Incorrect merchandise” is defined as a product or item that is other than than the product or item that you actually purchased. (For example, you ordered Milkweed Extract and we sent you Milkthistle Extract in error). Abundant Life Herb Shop and TheHerbDoc.com do not assume any responsibility for the applicability or suitability of any product or item.

Except for damaged or incorrect merchandise as noted above, all returns will receive a 90% refund of the actual cost of the merchandise returned (excluding shipping charges), which will be issued directly to the same credit or debit card originally used to place the order.

When we receive the returned merchandise with an RMA we will process the return within two business days. Depending upon your bank processing cycle, your credit will be posted to your account within 1-2 billing cycles or sooner.

We do ask, however, that you keep in mind the fact that nutritional supplements simply do not produce instant results in most cases, and that every body will react differently to nutritional support. You didn’t get sick overnight, and you won’t get well overnight. The rule of thumb is that for the body to heal itself it requires a minimum of three months of adequate nutritional supplementation, plus one additional month for each year that you have had the problem. It also takes seven to ten times the nutrition to heal the body as it takes to maintain normal health.

Pure Herb Product Refunds. In accordance with Pure Herbs, Ltd. policy: “Due to F.D.A. regulations regarding food products, Pure Herbs, Ltd. has a no return policy. The exceptions are breakage and manufacturing defects. ... This policy is necessary as the returned product must be destroyed due to F.D.A. regulations.” We are therefore unable to provide refunds of Pure Herbs products except as provided in the Pure Herbs Ltd. refund policy.

Special Order Items. Special Order items are items that we do not normally stock and that we have ordered especially for you. Special Order items are not refundable. Defective merchandise issues should be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty policies, and must be negotiated by you directly with the manufacturer. [BACK TO TOP]

We are diametrically opposed to Unsolicited Commercial eMail (also called UCE or SPAM). We hate getting it and we refuse to send it. If you specifically request to be added to our mailing list or check the option on the Shopping Cart checkout page, we will automatically add you to our newsletter mailing list. We usually send out a newsletter about once a month, but will occasionally contact you with new or special product information, health information, or training opportunities that we feel may be of value to you.
