PLEASE NOTE: We are in no way anti-physician! If we ever have a serious illness or trauma, we certainly hope that there will be a well-trained, well-qualified, conscientious, competent, holistically-minded physician available. We do, however, feel that American health-care is in desperate need of a total restructuring, that the allopathic medical profession must be held to extremely rigid safety and quality standards (at least to the same standards as those to which every single other industry in America is held), and that physicians, nurses, and pharmacists must be held personally accountable for the damage they actually do. Any other industry that was by its own admission directly responsible for the deaths of over 650 individuals every single day would be immediately closed down by the government! Allopathic physicians must be made to realize, and to publicly admit, that they do not have all the answers, nor do they have either the corner on “truth” or the right to control access to health information; that ancient methods which have been effective at promoting health for thousands of years, along with their modern practitioners, are valid for today whether they are completely understood and “scientifically verifiable” or not; that chemical and biological poisons do not “cure” diseases; that the arbitrary removal of body parts does not promote either health or quality of life; and that the wholesale slaughter of innocent, unborn children for personal profit is an abomination before God. The general population must made to understand that each individual person is ultimately responsible for his/her own health and quality of life, that this personal responsibility requires that each person educate him/herself as thoroughly as possible in all aspects of nutrition and natural health-care, that allopathic physicians are not to be “deified,” and their suggestions should not be blindly accepted. We also feel that the American court system must put an immediate stop to irresponsible and unwarranted litigation and to the “deep-pockets award” mentality that permeates our legal system. Financial judgments should always be awarded based on actual damages and losses, not on some arbitrary and misplaced “Robin Hood” sense of responsibility for the redistribution of wealth. According to
statistics from the
medical community itself,
one out of every ten deaths in the USA
— approx. 241,423* deaths in 2001
—
— up from 150,000 in 1990 —
662 deaths a day
are due to medical error.
[*In 2009
Gary Null, PhD estimated that 786,000
Americans
die annually from iatrogenic or medically-caused deaths, so
adjust the remaining statistics in this article by that amount.]
The government simply would not tolerate this incredibly unsatisfactory safety record from any other industry, and no intelligent person would ever blindly trust any other person with this kind of record of disastrous errors!!!!
The Boeing 767-200 with standard
two-class configuration carries 224 passengers. If three Boeing
767-200 aircraft were to crash every single day [Gary Null’s 2009 estimate
would increase this to nine aircraft crashes every day], killing
672 people [2154 people a day by Gary Null’s 2009 estimate], that death
rate would be approximately the same as the death rate of medical error!
How long do you suppose the government, or the
American public, would tolerate the loss of three [nine]
fully-loaded Boeing 767’s every day of the week, 365 days a year???
On September 11, 2001, a total of 2,998 innocent people (including 19 terrorists) died at the hands of Islamic terrorists [www.september11victims.com/september11victims/statitic.asp] and most of America was immediately willing to risk starting World War Three to avenge their deaths. Where is the public outrage at a medical profession that kills 71% of that number of people [2154] every single day??
